The Bunyala Culture Heritage Foundation (BCHF)
The Bunyala Culture Heritage Foundation (BCHF) was established, under Bunyala Cultural Institution, to restore the highly cherished culture of the Banyala indigenous minority ethnic group with origins in Bugerere, Kayunga district in Uganda.
Fully aware of the derision of our culture by the Buganda dominant cultural force and the resultant diminishing Bunyala Cultural values; Conscious of the Uganda constitutional provisions for existence of the Banyala as an indigenous Ugandan ethnic group; and being desirous of deliberately uplifting and rejuvenating our cultural identity through unified effort, we the Banyala formed the Bunyala Culture Heritage Foundation, herein and thereafter referred to as BCHF, to revive the appallingly degenerated Bunyala culture.
